Are you excited for the workshop?

I know I am! First of all, I would like to thank you for joining. You could have been somewhere else but you chose to spend your time to learn Brush Calligraphy with me.

But before we start learning, I have some pre-workshop homework for you.

Don't worry, it's not about Math.

There are a couple of things that I would like you to prepare beforehand.

1. For the digitizing part of or workshop, you need to install these 2 apps on your phone and create an account:
Adobe Photoshop Express
Adobe Photoshop Mix (Not to be confused with Photoshop Fix)

They are available on both Android and iOS.

2. Prepare your favorite quote or lyrics. Just think of something that you want to turn into a lettering piece. We will use this during our lettering composition activity. This will also be your personal project during the workshop. It would be advisable that it is between 3 to 8 words in length.

3. Prepare a background photo. It could be something that you already have on your phone or you can download from the Internet. Find something that would relate to your chosen words. Check out unsplash.com for some great photos.

A few more reminders:

• Registration starts at 1:00 PM. The workshop will start not later than 1:30 PM or earlier if everyone is already there. So please try to be early.

• Our reservation at Clock In Coworking is in their Meeting Room. This is in Makati Stock Exchange. The exact address can be seen in this link: https://www.clock-in.com.ph/locations/makati-stock-exchange
  
• There will be light snacks to be served. Please try to take your lunch first so you won't get hungry during the workshop.
• Lastly, don't forget to have fun and meet new friends. :)
